On November 1, 2023 seven South Wake Conservationists braved the chilly weather to have a very productive pollinator garden workday! The group concentrated on the primary garden at Yates Mill County Park and removed an impressive amount of invasive plants such as blackberry and Bradford Pear. They also dead-headed and clipped dead growth from pollinator plants, preparing them for spring. In addition, they planted several pollinator plants in an additional garden. Thanks to all who made it worthwhile to brave a cold and windy day!
