The South Wake Conservationists are very enthusiastic about supporting pollinators, which are so essential to the success of our ecosystems. Chapter members actively participate in numerous public events to educate the public about the importance of pollinators in our world, lead community projects to establish pollinator gardens, and promote local government and citizen participation in certification programs. This is part of the statewide Butterfly Highway Program by the NC Wildlife Federation.
