It was a beautiful day at the farm! With sunny skies and temps in the lower 70’s, the SWC team enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon engaging the local community at Cary’s annual Harvest Fest at Good Hope Farm. We engaged in many great conversations about threats to biodiversity (including the Save our Sounds campaign), introduced people to the chapter, and had fun with everyone trying to guess the answer to questions on the Q&A board, identifying items on the nature display board, and trying to match recorded animal sounds with the right animals. Thanks to teammates John, Regan, and Bill for making it a successful afternoon, and especially to our Public Engagement chair Jeff, for managing our participation in the event.
