SWC members and PTA leaders joined forces again today to install 23 interpretive signs along the re-imagined nature trail at West Lake Elementary School in Apex. SWC member Courtney Rousseau has led this project since last Fall, custom-designing a full-color series of interpretive signs for kids about nature along a re-furbished trail on school grounds. The project is close to completion, just waiting for a new trailhead sign and replacement of a few trail-side timbers. A grand opening is planned this spring, so please come out and see this new, beautiful nature trail!
