Ever done a bioblitz? Want to learn how or just join others doing a health check on the biodiversity in our area? Join the NC City Nature Challenge for the Triangle Area the last weekend of April to record as many species in the area that you can find, using iNaturalist! It is recommended that you download this free app ahead of time. This will be a great time to get outdoors and enjoy nature, while making note of the abundance of species (plants and animals) you may encounter. You might be surprised!
Rachel Woods, of Dragonfly Nature Programs, is offering two events that weekend to come out and learn about the CNC, learn how to use iNaturalist on your smartphone, and then document what we find in the field, regrouping at the end. Come to one or come to both! No experience necessary – just a love of nature.
