Hanging onto our canopy for dear life! Several canopies at other exhibits went topsy-turvy as the winds gusted during an otherwise pleasant afternoon at the Wild About Nature festival at Holly Springs’ Sugg Farm. We had a great turnout of SWC volunteers, which kept our multi-faceted displays and activities running smoothly, and the kids seemed to have a good time learning about red wolves, animal sounds, and animal tracks. We continued the Save our Sounds campaign message at the main table for adults and got quite a few additional emails off to people’s representatives in the state legislature to stop inshore shrimp trawling.
Many thanks, as always, to our great volunteers, including Jeff, Courtney, Jennifer, Sara, Regan, Katie, and Debra. Extra credit for keeping everything from blowing away!

What a wonderful community project! Love the all ages were present.
