  • Date: Thursday, December 4th
  • Time: 7:00 – 8:30 PM
  • Location: Bass Lake Conference Room, Holly Springs and Online (Hybrid)

Join NCWF South Wake Conservationists Chapter for a conversation about the impacts of climate change and the biodiversity crisis on children’s mental health. Hear from a local environmental educator, Rachel Woods, about how her ecophilic educational model serves as a buffer for children against environmental angst. Rachel Woods is a certified Environmental Educator and owner/lead teacher of Dragonfly Nature Programs LLC with more than two decades of teaching experience.

As we approach the end of 2025, we invite you to join us for our last meeting of the year! Let’s end on a high note and be inspired to support the next generation of conservationists. If you are in the area, please come in person to the meeting at the beautiful conference facility at Bass Lake Park in Holly Springs. The presentation will be followed by time to enjoy refreshments, socialize, and participate in a raffle with nature-themed prizes.

If you are not in the Raleigh area, we also enjoy having remote participants join via our live webcast. Questions for the speaker are taken via online chat, as well as in the room.

Join us for an uplifting discussion about some of the good things that are being done to support our young people and the natural world! Be sure to register below.
