There are just a few spaces for this special activity at the NC Botanical Garden (registration is capped at ten) so register soon! South Wake Conservationists and Tri County Conservationists, working with NCWF, are collaborating to offer this unique opportunity to learn and participate in some behind-the-scenes work at the botanical garden.
We will have a tour of the NCBG seed bank, see their seed cleaning equipment and different native seed types up close, and also help clean native plant seeds by hand for conservation at NCBG. We may also have the opportunity to take home some native plant seeds for chapter projects. Our tour leader will be Ali Touloupas, Conservation Grower at NCBG. This promises to be both educational and fun!
