South Wake Conservationists

This event was previously postponed on Feb. 1, due to weather, but we are relentless in our pursuit of invasives removal! Come join us on Sat., Feb. 28th.

Please join South Wake Conservationists in removing invasive bamboo and privet from the banks of Swift Creek in Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve, located in Cary, NC. We may work on privet and bamboo or we may work on wisteria, depending on how many ephemerals are in the privet/bamboo area. If there are a lot we will work on wisteria. We will be going off trail to get to the stand of bamboo and cross a small stream. Be sure to wear your hiking boots:).
