Please join us at the Triangle Land Conservancy’s Swift Creek Bluffs Nature Preserve as we embark on a nature walk to discover the many different native spring ephemeral flowers that will be just starting to pop up! The walk will be led by Dr. Eric Pauley, who has conducted plant research in mountain, swamp and marine environments, now concentrating on Piedmont plants. Dr. Pauley has conducted several other nature walks with SWC and always gives a wonderful tour.
We will discover the wonders of nature that emerge just in time to announce spring. In addition, we will learn about the natural history regarding the evolution and geography of these very unique bluffs and the special microclimate they create.

Please bring water, suitable footware, and a camera. The walk will include a few inclines but most of the walk will be on level ground. Hope to see you there!
