Kids in Nature Day 2022 (extended reg.)

Outdoor fun for the whole family! South Wake Conservationists (SWC) will be hosting a free Kids in Nature Day event on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 10 AM to 1 PM.  This is the premier nature festival organized under our Eco Kids Program and the first time it will be held in the Triangle region, mirroring many successful years under the NCWF Great Outdoors University programs in the Charlotte region.  This event is co-sponsored by the Triangle Land Conservancy (TLC) and will be held at the TLC’s  Williamson Nature Preserve, 4409 Mial Plantation Road in Raleigh.

Kids in Nature Day will include a wide variety of fun and educational nature-related games and hands-on activities for the whole family, especially centered on elementary through middle school kids. Many of the top local organizations, as well as state and local agencies, will be onsite to offer special activities and education. We will also have the expertise of a local beekeeper, an award-winning art teacher who will set up a nature crafts table, a black bear expert, plus various other specialists that comprise the South Wake Conservationists team!

Bring the family and walk the festival path to discover the many wonders of nature and have fun doing it! Attendance by pre-registration only.
