South Wake Conservationist Bird-Watching Tour at North Carolina Museum of Art Park

On May 3, 2021, 17 bird-watchers enjoyed a tour of the North Carolina Museum of Art Park. South Wake Conservationists Participate in Lake Raleigh Litter Sweep!

On May 1, 2021 the South Wake Conservationists teamed up with North Carolina State University to conduct a litter sweep of Lake Raleigh, which is located on NCSU’s Centennial Campus. Participants collected litter on relevant greenways, forested areas and along the lake shore (using canoes). A total of 300 pounds of trash was collected!
