North Carolina Welcomes the Endangered and Iconic American Wood Stork!

Join us on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 7:00 EST to learn about the recent emergence of endangered American Wood Storks to eastern North Carolina! This exciting story will be told by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission’s Carmen Johnson, Coastal Waterbird Biologist and Dr. Sara Sweitzer, Assistant Chief of the Wildlife Management Division. Dr. Schweitzer also taught Wildlife Ecology for fifteen years at the University of Georgia and serves in leadership positions on several wildlife associations. Please register here.
