Join South Wake Conservationists on a kayaking or canoeing trip on the Cape Fear River on Saturday, July 31, 2021. At 9:00 am, we’ll meet at Cape Fear River Adventures located at 100 S. Main St. Lillington, NC 27526. Bring your own boat and you can launch it from the ramp for a small fee. If you don’t have your own boat, canoes or kayaks are available for rent at Cape Fear River Adventures. Everyone will need to make their own reservations and you should choose the Hourly Rentals option for two hours, 9:30 to 11:30 am trip. This trip will begin and end at the Lillington ramp and does not require a shuttle. Remember to bring a filled water bottle, hat, shoes that you don’t mind getting wet, sunglasses, sun screen and a snack if you wish. We hope you join us for this fun water outing.
