SWC members enjoyed meeting with the public at the Good Hope Farm Harvest Fest in Cary on a chilly but bright fall afternoon on Nov. 19. Our theme was about protecting endangered and threatened animals, and we shared information and led activities with both adults and children. It was great to see the level of interest and fun to speak with everyone that came. Many thanks to Jeff, John, and Bonnie for helping at the event and to Katie for making the beautiful Red Wolf display for kids. We also had an endangered species board game for the kids, which was popular, as well as an informational display about the endangered species in NC.
