On November 28,2022 the South Wake Conservationists (SWC) had a fun and very productive day at Yates Mill County Park! Six determined conservationists pulled weeds, removed lots of invasive plants and trees and trimmed back dead growth at one of the park’s pollinator gardens. They also spread seeds and encountered two interesting occupants of the garden (anole lizard and tree frog). SWC created this garden in April and it has already become valuable wildlife habitat!
