Swift Creek Nature Preserve – Here We Come!

Please join us on Sunday afternoon April 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Swift Creek Bluffs Nature Preserve as we embark on a nature walk! Specifically, we will be looking for native plants that inhabit woodsy habitat. The walk will be led by Eric Pauley. Dr. Pauley has a very impressive background in botany and plant science. He has conducted plant research in mountain, swamp and ocean habitats. Presently, he is concentrating on piedmont plants.

Due to limited parking, please park at Joe Smith Park, located at 9725 Penny Road. We will then carpool to Swift Creek (7800 Holly Springs Road). The two locations are only one mile apart. Please bring water, suitable foot ware and a camera. The walk will include a few inclines but most of the walk will be on level ground. Hope to see you there! Please register below.

We are pleased to have you join us and look forward to seeing you!

South Wake Conservationists and the NC Wildlife Federation are able to support conservation activities and programs like this at no cost, thanks to the partnership and kind investments of people like you. Thank you!
