- Pollinator garden is located between the parking lot and the park’s interpretive building.
South Wake Conservationists Gardens & Wildlife Habitats Committee is looking for more volunteers for a Pollinator Garden Clean‑Up at Yates Mill County Park!
Shift 1: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM – For volunteers willing to work around or help pull out poison ivy and bramble. Long sleeves and long pants are recommended.
Shift 2: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM — General garden maintenance such as weeding, thinning, and tidying.
What to Bring
- We will be working in the sun – bring a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water
- Gardening gloves and tools if you have them (we’ll have some on hand)
- Gloves, extra water and packaged snacks will be available should you want them
