South Wake Conservationists

South Wake Conservationists Gardens & Habitats for Wildlife Committee is looking for volunteers to assist with our quarterly Bass Lake pollinator garden maintenance.

Meet us at the SWC pollinator and shade garden located by the Bass Lake Picnic Shelter (use Picnic Shelter entrance to the park).

We will be weeding and tidying up the shade garden, then add mulch as needed. We’ll also complete a plant inventory to evaluate what needs to be supplemented and replaced for our Fall Planting. 

What to Bring

• We will be working in the heat – be prepared to get dirty and sweaty! Bring water to stay hydrated.
• Gardening gloves and tools if you have them (we’ll have some on hand)
• Gloves, extra water and packaged snacks will be available should you want them
