We will collect litter along a section of the trail that is approximately 1.1 miles long and will meet at the Hereford Road entrance of the Mountain to Sea Trail Due to a road closure, volunteers should enter via Hereford Rd & Redwood Rd., park along the roadside and walk approximately 0.25 mile to the cleanup site.

The Mountains-to-Sea Trail is a simple footpath stretching almost 1,200 miles across North Carolina from Clingmans Dome in the Great Smoky Mountains to Jockey’s Ridge on the Outer Banks.  77.6 miles of the trail stretch from the Falls Lake Dam to the Eno River State Park.  We will be cleaning up several deposits of trash along the waterline and roadsides in the impacted area.  This is an NCWF-sponsored Trees-4-Trash event.
