Haw River Cleanup-a-thon

Haw River

South Wake Conservationists have been invited to a joint workday on Saturday, March 20, 9 AM – 12 PM, with the Haw River Assembly , which promotes protection of the Haw River watershed.  This is another opportunity to restore our natural environment, while earning the purchase of native trees to plant later through the NCWF Trees-4-Trash Program (50 lbs. of trash earns another tree for planting later)!  We will meet at 9 AM at the parking lot on river right (348 River Access Rd, Pittsboro) and break into two teams, one of which will drive to other side.  Each team is limited to 15 due to Covid.  Please RSVP below to reserve your spot, and we hope to see you there!
