On Sunday, May 16, 2021, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, join South Wake Conservationists’ volunteers who will be protecting the Cape Fear River by collecting trash along Titan Roberts Rd. and Ross Rd. in Harnett Co. which are crossing the Upper Little River watershed flowing in the Cape Fear River. We’ll be cleaning about a half mile on each road. We’ll be meeting at Guy and Judy Gardner’s house (4503 Ross Road, Lillington, 27546) at 9:00 am, then drive about one mile down to where we’ll begin the clean up. We’ll split into two teams, one on Ross Rd. and the other on Titan Roberts Road. Trash pickers, safety vests and gloves will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear waterproof boots/shoes because the roadway can be wet. Bring a water bottle and if you like, some snacks. This event is part of NCWF’s Neighborhood Clean-up Challenge, May 8 – 16, 2021. Please complete the form below to RSVP for this event.
