The early 1970’s is known as a time of conservation and environmental legislation. It included creation of the Endangered Species and Marine Mammal Protection Acts. In addition, the Environmental Protection Agency was created. Join us on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. as Manley Fuller, North Carolina Wildlife Federation’s (NCWF) Vice-President of Conservation Policy informs us as to why we are now living in an era which resembles the early 70’s! Legislation regarding wildlife corridors, Chronic Wasting Disease, land and water conservation, farmland preservation, fish habitat and biological diversity are just several examples of pending or finalized legislation. Mr. Fuller has many years of conservation experience with the National Wildlife Federation, Florida Wildlife Federation and NCWF.
