On January 28, 2022 six hardy South Wake Conservationists braved some chilly weather to give the pollinator gardens at Millbrook Magnet Elementary School in Raleigh a haircut! The group filled approximately 15 wheelbarrows of pruned plant material! They also had a fun opportunity to team up with a group of “future conservationist” students!

Thanks for including some freeze frames to go along with the text writeup. They are a hardy group to cut back that much plant material in the time allotted. I’ll be looking forward to the flush of new growth come Spring. Was that the past Chapter President in the red jacket?
