Please join the South Wake Conservationists (SWC) on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. for an enjoyable nature walk in the woods! We will be walking the 3 mile Sal’s Branch Trail at Umstead State Park in Raleigh. The walk will begin at the Visitor Center parking lot and will include some modest inclines and a view of the park’s beautiful Big Lake! We will also view a pollinator garden that was created by SWC! Please bring appropriate footwear, water and a snack. With any luck, we may view various signs of spring! Please enter the park from the Glenwood Avenue (Route 70) entrance. The Visitor center is located approximately one mile from the park’s entrance. Please RSVP below!
