Mark your calendars for the biggest Eco Kids event of the year: Kids in Nature Day! This special outdoor festival will be held on Saturday, May 14, 10 AM – 1 PM at the Triangle Land Conservancy’s Williamson Nature Preserve in Raleigh.
Kids in Nature Day will include a wide variety of fun and educational nature-related games and hands-on activities for the whole family, especially centered on elementary through middle school kids. Many of the top state and local organizations and agencies will be running engaging nature activities, including the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, NC Wildlife Resources Commission, Wake County Parks & Rec, Raleigh Parks & Rec, and Wake Audubon, to name a few. We will also have the expertise of a local beekeeper, an award-winning art teacher with a nature crafts table, a black bear expert, plus various other specialists that comprise the NC Wildlife Federation and South Wake Conservationists team!
Bring the family and walk the festival path to discover the many wonders of nature and have fun doing it! Please pre-register here to save your spot and speed up check-in upon arrival.
