FIELD TRIP! Kayaking at Robertson Millpond Preserve @ 11 AM Nov. 5

Note time change to 11 AM – be sure to register and reserve your water craft!

Please join us for a unique opportunity on Saturday, November 5 at 11 AM to kayak Robertson Millpond. Robertson Millpond Preserve is located at 6333 Robertson Pond Road, Wendell, NC 27591

Reserve a kayak for for a one hour time slot at11:00 am from Tar River Life (onsite at Robertson Millpond) or bring your own vessel (kayak, canoe, paddle board).

Kayak Rentals: Click HERE to reserve and pay for your kayak so it is ready for you when you arrive at the park. There are 8 single kayaks and 4 tandem kayaks available on November 5 so we recommend reserving your kayak as soon as possible. If these kayaks are already reserved, the kayak rental place can get more if we need them.

We will explore the pond as a group and follow the 1.15 miles long trail through this beautiful cypress swamp.

Please arrive 15 minute early and meet at the shelter near the parking lot.
