Join us as we explore the winter in the woods, Sat., Jan. 28, 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon at Harris Energy & Environmental Center in New Hill, NC. We’ll learn how to identify some animal tracks and then enjoy a mile-long hike as we seek evidence of animals that live in the forest. Follow the trail along a creek to find any tracks that were left overnight and see if you can match it to our pocket guides. Scat – what’s that? Who has been disturbing the leaf litter over there? Is there someone home in that tree hollow? Use your eyes and ears to detect the many animals that leave clues behind!
This is part of our regular Eco Kids series, and all kids and their families are welcome to join us. Be sure to register below to hold your spot.
