The South Wake Conservationists invite you to join them on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. as they explore the amazing world of Purple Martins. These iconic birds are voracious insect-eaters and their migration into the United States is one of the first harbingers of spring. We will also learn about the wonderful activities of the North Carolina Purple Martin Society (NCPMS) and its initiatives to conserve these amazing birds! Courtney Rousseau, founder and current president of the NCPMS, will be our guide and guest speaker. Courtney has a B.S. degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State University.
