In the interest of promoting a hunter’s role as a conservationist, SWC frequently partners with the New Hill Hunter Education and Mentoring Program to provide hunter training and to promote field safety. This team was pleased to host an official NC Wildlife Resources Commission Hunter Education program last Saturday at Raven Rock State Park in support of the same. More than a firearm safety course, instruction includes ethics and responsibility, conservation and wildlife management, wildlife identification, survival and first aid, specialty hunting and tree stand safety.
