On January 29, 2003 the South Wake Conservationists joined forces with the North Carolina Wildlife Federation and Friends of the Mountain to Sea Trail to conduct a very productive litter sweep at the Ellerbe Creek section of Falls Lake in Durham, NC! Several hundred pounds of litter were collected (conservative estimate)! The litter portrayed in the enclosed photos represent a fraction of what was collected! Future sweeps are planned to collect the remaining litter!
