The Sylvan Heights Bird Park (SHBP), located in Scotland Neck, NC, is one of the world’s premier breeding facilities of endangered bird species. Dr. Dustin Foote, SHBP’s Director of Aviculture, will discuss the park’s breeding programs and will focus on four avian species, including flamingoes in Bolivia, mergansers in Brazil and hummingbirds and waterfowl at SHBP.
