Love Those Button Bushes!

In 2021 the South Wake Conservationists and North Carolina Wildlife Federation planted Button Bushes at the North Carolina Art Park and Umstead State Park. South Wake Conservationists (SWC) Team Up With Umstead State Park Officials!

Representatives from SWC, North Carolina Wildlife Federation and Umstead State Park planted 18 water-loving Button Bushes today in the Park’s bog. Button Bushes create beautiful pollinator-attracting blooms but need a “swampy” environment to bloom. The group also distributed Swamp Milkweed seeds in the bog!
