Our next Eco Kids discovery hike will be at the beautiful and unique Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve in Cary on Sun., Nov. 14, 2:00-3:30 PM, back by popular demand, following the enthusiastic response to the seek and find around the Bass Lake Park trail in Holly Springs in September. This hike will explore the park’s unique features, where the tall, north-facing bluffs of Swift Creek provide conditions similar enough to the mountains to have allowed the plant communities to have survived there since the last ice age. Families are invited to bring kids of all ages, and they will be challenged to discover plants, wildlife, and other wonders of nature along the way.
Attendance will be capped at 20 children, so be sure to register below in advance. Also, please download this waiver form and bring a signed copy with you. Hope to see you there!
