Please Join Us for the Creation of Another Schoolyard Pollinator Garden!

Please join us on Friday, April 1, 2022 for the creation of another schoolyard pollinator garden! We will be planting shade-tolerant plants at Bridges Elementary and Mt. Vernon Middle Schools, 5418 Chapel Hill Road, Raleigh, NC. The schools are located next to each other. We will start at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. Please bring water and gloves. Tools will be provided. Please register below!

  2. Is Mt Vernon not the first Middle School where we’ve been asked to help establish a pollinator friendly garden? It will be interesting to see what the kids at these two schools have been able to accomplish so far. These warm nights have probably encouraged the winter annuals and perennials to enter a growth spurt.

  3. Regan and I will come, but we may be late. She is sitting with a friend with dementia that morning, 10 – 12, so that the lady’s husband can go shopping.
