South Wake Conservationists Contribute to Spring Litter Sweep!

On April 9, 2022 a group of South Wake Conservationists made a substantial contribution to Harnett County’s “Keep Harnett Beautiful Spring Litter Sweep.” The group collected 437 pounds of trash along roadways in Lillington. The effort will also add to the North Carolina Wildlife Federation’s habitat restoration program by authorizing the planting of 17 trees!

  2. I hadn’t heard, much less seen the new safety vest so beautifully modeled by Guy. Hopefully someone had the foresight to order all XXXL,so that everyone would have one that fits. That area of Harnett seems to be a hotspot for discarded items of all shapes and sizes. It doesn’t deserve that level of respect.
