South Wake Conservationists Collect Trash and Enhance a Pollinator Garden!

On May 24, 2021, four members of the South Wake Conservationists (SWC) collected 75 pounds of trash and also worked on the pollinator garden at Lincoln Heights Magnet School in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. SWC members planted a few small pollinator plants, added considerable compost to the garden and performed various weeding chores.

  1. That was a droopy group of individuals once the temperature exceeded 90oF. Thankfully some of the students made sure the new plants were well watered. The garden is coming along nicely. The yarrow is getting well established. Good job!
